For more than a quarter century, the mission of the non-profit PAIRS Foundation has been to teach those attitudes, emotional understandings, and behaviours that nurture and sustain healthy relationships and to make this knowledge broadly available on behalf of a safer, saner and more loving world.

What is PAIRS?

Pacific Family Life Counselling

Marriage has changed. In previous generations, marriages were based on security and stability as well as raising children. Modern marriages require more than simple pre-defined roles -- they require intimacy. Marriage today requires equality between partners, a focus on physical closeness, mutual understanding and relationship skills. This kind of relationship creates a foundation for stable families and a lifetime of love and companionship.

PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) programs provides a research-based, proven system to create and sustain loving, intimate relationships. PAIRS uses the best practices from psychology, education and psychotherapy to teach these skills in a unique and comprehensive way.
