Charlotte Dyck has had a long and extensive ministry career as a speaker, teacher, writer and therapist. After graduating from Briercrest Bible College, Saskatchewan in 1961, Charlotte worked with children and teenagers, teaching life skills and self esteem. She worked in the field during her three years at college, and for two summers as a counsellor in summer camps from 1960 - 1961.

Charlotte married Bill in 1961 and from 1961 - 1976 Charlotte worked with her husband Bill Dyck as Co-director of Youth for Christ, Campus Line and Lifeline, a program for troubled teens. Her work with teenagers included counselling, teaching life skills, and developing a seven-week course called, "Teen Image", a program dealing with self-esteem. Charlotte taught this course in Vancouver for six years at various locations including Trinity Western University. Charlotte also established the Big Sister Program in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1965 to 1970. She recruited, trained and supervised university students as Big Sisters, who worked with teens from correctional institutes. Charlotte directed the lifetime Girls Camps during the summers at Echo Island, a camp she co-founded with Bill. In the early 70's Charlotte became a sought after speaker, speaking at teachers professional development days, conferences, retreats/workshops, and women's clubs.

In 1976, Charlotte moved with Bill and her family to Fresno California to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She graduated in 1978 with a 4.0 GPA. From 1978 to 1980, Charlotte completed her Masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counselling from California State University, also with a 4.0 GPA. While studying at University, Charlotte was co-youth pastor for Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church. She later went on to become a marriage and family therapist for Richmond Bethel Church form 1980 to 1981 after graduation. In 1980, she and Bill founded Pacific Family Life Counselling Inc., where she is president, as well as a therapists. She was instrumental in founding a fashion company and agency, New Image, in 1981, and acted as President and seminar teacher for this company. She taught individual development and self-improvement courses for both teens and women. In 1990, she successfully completed a course through the Justice Institute of BC called, Adult Survivor of Child Sexual Abuse Intervention. She is co-founder and vice-president of Pak Fam Holdings (1994).

In 1994, Charlotte joined with her husband Bill in becoming a teacher with PAIRS International. Both she and Bill became Master PAIRS teachers in 1998 and PAIRS Trainers in 2000. They have successfully completed 18 classes and graduated over 350 people in seven years. She also trained to become a 123 Magic Teacher with Child management Inc. in 1996. She has led Emotional Re-education workshops with women on selected weekends several times a year since 1995. Married for 42 years she has two children and 6 grandchildren.

As a writer, and media guest, Charlotte has had much exposure in the international market place. In 1980, she did coverage of the World Congress on Evangelism in a publication called "Meeting House". She has compiled a workbook and student manual on teen image, and personal style and individual development manual for woman in 1981 and 1982. She has written articles for the New Zealand Herald and Challenge on self-esteem and Women in 1985. She has been on "Good Morning Melbourne" as a TV guest to discuss colour psychology and its effect on the people and was also on Channel 10 in Richmond BC as a producer of three fifteen minute fashion segments that same year. In 1986, she wrote for the Melbourne Sun (Australia) and did an article on Self-esteem and women. In 1987, she wrote an article for the Richmond Review titled, "Women on the Go" and in 1990, she wrote for the M.B. Herald and did coverage for the World Congress on Evangelism Lausanne II in Manila, Philippines as a Canadian Delegate. Charlotte has also been a featured keynote speaker at many Christian Women's Clubs in both Canada and the United States. Both she and her husband Bill have been overseas several times working with missionaries, expatriates, and national leaders as counsellors, teachers and speakers. 

Charlotte is now retired from active counselling.
